The New York Times

The New York Times is an American daily newspaper that is originally based in my hometown of New York. The headquarters is originally in the big city of New York City. I think The New York Times is a very credible source because it’s very reliable and helps me with insight into new information. The New York Times always has an original and first hand account to every event it broadcasts online. Everything they post is true and not opinion based like some other sources.

Forbes

Forbes is an American business magazine originally owned by the Forbes Family. It typically focuses on articles about finance, industry, investing, and marketing topics. They also report on very recent happenings in our world. Forbes doesn’t just report on business but also on technology, communications, science, politics, and law. I think Forbes is a credible source because it sees 142 million visitors each month. All their information is fact checked before they publish it for the public to see. Forbes also isn’t a biased source because they provide various perspectives on each and every topic they put out.

BBC News

BBC News is a broadcasting company founded in London England. They are responsible for the gathering and broadcasting of news and current affairs. BBC News stands for British Broadcasting corporation normally on the radio or television. It is the world's oldest national broadcaster with award winning documentaries. BBC News is a reliable source because it has a number of employees that dedicate their time to specific topics which leads them to a high author expertise. It's a very trustworthy site that has little to no bias in the information put out on their website.

The Associated Press

The Associated Press is one of America’s nonprofit news agencies located in New York City. It is one of the few news sources that operates as a cooperative unincorporated association. The Associated press is dedicated to fact checking when they report on any event or affair. This is a credible source because it has minimal bias with factual information. All of their articles they put out are very well sourced and they never input their own opinions into what they broadcast.

Google Scholar

Google Scholar is a source created by google to broadly search for scholarly literature. It indexes the full text of scholarly literature across an array of publishing formats. This is a reliable source because it searches a wide range of topics all at once. They include a lot more journals in their database than any other website does. They update their articles regularly more than any other news source, this makes them extremely reliable with up to date information. Google Scholar also includes all their citations at the end of each article which is very nice and helpful when doing reports.
